So this is the day when I close submissions to Imaginaerum Almead Contest

in group.

I must say just one thing: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I had lots of hard time, being sad because of small amount of entries. But

after few days, you know what? This contest was really important to me. I

had really hard time because of personal problems, and I knew that in the

evening I can sit in front of my laptop with something nice to eat and just

discuss about contest!

Thank you for your feedback! Thank you for telling me how nice was my idea!

Thanks to all the friends that helped me with prizes, and last, but most

important: THANK YOU CONTESTANTS! It's awesome that in the end so many

people entered :3


Below I'll write my thoughts about every single picture for a contest ^^

It's my opinion, but remember, I have asked 3 more friends to help me :3

Last but not least. I will announce winners in less than a week (before

April 9th). Pictures will be judged upon a originality, interpretation of

song and on some level on skills.


There will be two additional winners:for special skills/or effort, and for

very good idea!


Okay, here we go, here you can see all entries with my shorter or longer

And guys, if you got 1 for skills or originality.... DO NOT BE OFFENDED. It

doesn't mean that you suck, and I judged it comparing to all entries! So,

for example, you might be super awesome in real life, but in this contest

was someone better, that is the point! And points aren't only MY choice, I

consulted it with few people.

Nice interpretation of song, here main inspiration was meaning of title.

And I couldn't choose better character fur such interpretation than Selene.

This is completely different interpretation of song! Here, as artist

pointed main inspiration was lullaby tune of song. And I must say I was

really shocked when I saw this entry. Fatherly love of Ferric, all emotions

coming from this piece. This is probably most original entry from all. I

can also see how much work mirriluna put into this piece, how well she read

my descriptions, she even pointed out exact age difference between Ferric's

daughters!

I simply love this background! I love Aaia'a pose! I can see that effort

putted here! Artist respected my design of Aaia, and her face really shows

Aaia's character Design of bow and whole composition of drawing is

really amazing. I can't say much about song connection, because it's not

too clear for me, but still very good picture!

I really love that idea and effort that artist put in this drawing. She read my Miranda's description, so she did pretty good job! But I must say I didn't understand song connection. Drawing is rather possitive with bright colors, and song is dark and not too positive xD

I was really surprised when I saw it as first entry! Subtle emotions,

delicate shading. It may sound weird for you, but it suits Forunth very

much ^^ She's quite a dreamy girl. I love the whole drawing, her simple,

but fitting outfit. I can see that Aomori read my descriptions, and

respected all tattoos etc, and it is important for me! I don't know if I

see song ispiration same as artist, but I think Aomori tried to show

loneliness of Forunth inspired by few verses?

personalities in very subtle way. I was touched by this drawing, this is
